Step Forward make you, and your feet, feel better from the ground up!

Painful heels, calluses, hammertoes, cramps, sore legs, sore feet, corns, backaches and bunions are only the symptoms of bigger problems. Hard surfaces, improper footwear, old age and gravity are the major factors that lead to structural malfunction of the musculoskeletal system.

When foot posture is incorrect the entire body structure is incorrect.  Weak or misaligned bones and arches can lead to painful conditions throughout the body including knee, hip, back, neck and shoulder distress.

Most foot supports are made to fit the unbalance or troubled foot.  Step Forward's orthotics are made in the shape of a normal foot. In time, your foot will conform to the shape of the orthotic.  If worn properly the muscles and ligaments are realigned, thus eliminating fatigue and related discomfort.

A foot will change its shape by wearing improper footwear; our orthotic is designed to provide the correct shape to align the foot. Supporting all three arches of the feet, the feet, knees, hip and back do better!

Try our orthotics today. We are confident you and your feet will feel better.

Foot Arches

The arches of the foot are formed by the combination of the bone and muscle
structure. They consist of three arches, the longitudinal, metatarsal, and medial-arch. The largest and best known of the foot's arches is the medial arch,
which forms the hollow at the palm of the foot. Most sport shoes have a medial foam arch. The smaller longitudinal arch lays parallel to the medial arch on the outside of the foot. The metatarsal arch reaches across the forefoot immediately behind the ball of the foot.

How Orthotics Work

Step Forward Orthotics help put your feet back into their natural position.
High arch foot without an othotic.
Fallen arch foot without an orthotic.

Foot Ailments

Calluses And Corns

Underlying bone problems can cause excessive irritation.
Where shoes repeatedly rub, dead skin cells pile up, creating
calluses on the bottom of the foot and corns on the toes.

Hammertoes

Bunions

Plantar Neuroma

Heel Pain

A chronic inflammation of the plantar fascia, a ligament like structure that passes from the heel to forefoot. The fascia partially pulling away from the heel causes the inflammation. A bony spur (which at times causes pain) can also develop here, caused by excessive heel rotation, excessive heel pounding, longitudinal arch weakness, and/or stretched plantar muscles.
Plantar Fasciitis

A chronic inflammation of the plantar fascia (four layers of muscles and ligaments that passes from the heel to forefoot). The inflammation is caused by the fascia tearing (due to poor condition).
